We joyfully awarded the excelling students in our program with certificates and gifts on Saturday, 5 June 2021. In this academic term, we were extremely proud that four of our students ranked 1st and five ranked up to 10th in their class.

We also awarded Lemma, our student with special needs, who scored outstanding grades in his national exam and passed to university. They were provided with certificates and educational notebooks gifts with colored pens to encourage their performance.

Our core mission at BHE is to empower orphaned and vulnerable children through holistic care centered on education. At our drop in center, we provide students with daily after school tutorials to support their academic progress and address any challenges they face in their studies.

Along with educational support, we provide counseling and life skills support to ensure children and youth feel supported and equipped to address past, present and future difficulties they may have to navigate. Our aim is to provide each child with holistic support so they are able to thrive and become self reliant adults.

These children and youth are an inspiration to the other students in our program as they have passed hardship and challenges in their young age. They come from a single parent or vulnerable household where their guardians struggle to make ends meet and fulfil basic needs.

Despite the odds, these bright kids have worked hard to maintain and excel in their education. We are very proud of each of them! Our deep thanks to all who support our program and contribute towards the success of these children.
